Panasonic's outed a new Toughbook, the CF-C1. The convertible tablet / laptop boasts a resistive touchscreen which will register gloved presses, and comes with accidental damage warranties for extra coverage in non-traditional work environments. Specwise, the
Toughbook's got a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 CPU, a host of hard drive options, plus 3G, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. Other rugged / business features include a spillproof keyboard and security features for multiple users. The Windows 7 CF-C1 is available now in the UK for £1,709 (that's around $2,700).
